Health, Safety, Environmental and Social (HSES) management is a strategic priority for GuarantCo and PIDG.
GMC has developed a comprehensive HSES Management System (MS) for GuarantCo to manage HSES risk of GuarantCo’s transactions and portfolio. GMC wishes to recruit an HSES Advisor, based in our Nairobi office, to support the GMC HSES Team in the implementation of the HSES MS, including undertaking and reporting on HSES due diligence of transactions pre-financial close, HSES monitoring and assurance on transactions post financial close, and to support internal and external HSES reporting.
The role holder is expected to support the HSES Team and GMC to deliver consistently high quality HSES performance across all business activities.
Although working within GMC, the HSES function has an important and independent functional reporting line to PIDG HSES and PIDG HSES Director. This allows the GMC HSES function access to the PIDG-wide HSES strategy and culture, and to maintain a close, collaborative working relationship across the PIDG Group.
The HSES Advisor must be passionate about making a difference whilst working in a fast paced and innovative environment.
