In July 2021, GuarantCo, through the PIDG Institute, organised a two-day virtual Vietnam green capital market event, funded by PIDG Technical Assistance.
The event brought together stakeholders in Vietnam interested in raising debt from green and climate capital markets to deliver infrastructure projects. Fifty delegates from corporate and project sponsors, institutional investors, banks and non-financial institutions from Vietnam participated. The event was organised to support GuarantCo’s programmatic approach aimed at developing Vietnam’s market for green bonds and loans through innovative transactions in the country.
