What we do and how we do it, matters to us

GuarantCo is committed to maintaining the highest level of ethical standards in the conduct of our business affairs and to developing a culture of honesty and integrity across our organisation and with those with whom we do business. The PIDG Code of Conduct sets out the principles we follow and the minimum standards of ethical behaviour we expect from ourselves and those to whom we provide support.

FRAUD, BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards fraud, bribery and corruption of any kind. We have instigated effective systems, procedures and controls to enable detection and prevention of fraud, bribery, corruption, financial crime and tax evasion and we take all reports of wrong-doing seriously. We will investigate and, where necessary, report to the relevant authorities, all concerns proportionately and appropriately.

PIDG OPERATING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Procurement

From time to time, GuarantCo will issue Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to provide technical assistance, consultancy and other services and Invitations To Tenders (ITTs). These opportunities will be advertised here.

All services will be procured in accordance with GuarantCo’s Procurement Policy and Guidelines.

Securitization Arranger / Transaction Advisor and Placement agent

GuarantCo is now looking to appoint an Arranger to advise investors, prepare an offering memorandum, coordinate stakeholders, and undertake other necessary and reasonable activities in order to complete the Transaction (the Services).

The Arranger would be a transaction advisor (e.g. investment bank or other person approved by the Kenyan Capital Markets Authority) and would be engaged by GuarantCo initially. Upon establishment of the Funding SPV which shall be established as an ABS trust, for the remaining assignments under the scope of work, the Arranger would be engaged by the securitisation trustee (on behalf of the Funding SPV) on the same terms.
